Yukon & OKC Metro Headstone Care
We understand how much your loved one meant to you. The Stone Gardener gently cares for headstones and monuments across Yukon and the OKC Metro — so their memory is honored the way they deserve. Before and after photos shared with every visit.
What we clean
Priced by time on site, height, and physical risk — not a flat rate that ignores the real work involved. All prices include before & after photos.
Flush-to-ground bronze or granite markers, gently cleaned and rinsed by hand.
Ground levelThe most common headstone in OKC area cemeteries — carefully cleaned using safe, stone-approved solution.
2–3 ftTaller family monuments given the extra time and care they deserve.
4–5 ftLarger monuments cleaned thoroughly from base to top — every surface treated with care.
6–7 ftOur most involved service — monuments 8 ft or higher require additional time, equipment, and safety measures. Pricing starts at $350 and is confirmed on site after a full assessment. A liability waiver is required before work begins.

We carefully inspect every stone before we begin. If we find the stone needs more attention than expected, we'll reach out to you — with a photo — before we do anything further. You'll always know what we're seeing and why.
| Condition | Description | Est. last cleaned | Surcharge |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | Light dirt, minor weathering | 1–2 years | None |
| Moderate | Visible moss, moderate staining | 2–5 years | +$25–$35 |
| Heavy | Thick lichen, significant biological growth | 5–10 years | +$50–$75 |
| Severe | Barely readable, completely covered | 10+ years | +$100–$150 |
We believe in complete transparency. You'll always hear from us before any additional cost is discussed — never a surprise on your invoice.
Hazard rate notice: Cemetery grounds vary — some plots sit on slopes, hillsides, or uneven terrain that require additional care and safety measures on our part. In these situations a small site surcharge may apply. We will always let you know before we begin, and we'll never add a charge without your awareness and understanding.
Ongoing care
Two gentle, thorough visits each year — once in spring and once in fall. Many families find comfort knowing their loved one's stone is being regularly tended without having to think about it. We handle it, and we always send photos when we're done.
Grand monument and mausoleum annual plans available — contact for pricing based on on-site assessment.
Who we are
Owner & operator
Yukon, Oklahoma
I started The Stone Gardener because I noticed something most people don't: the headstones of people who were deeply loved were being left weathered, stained, and neglected — not out of disrespect, but because families didn't know help was available or didn't know who to call.
Oklahoma's red clay soil and humid summers are hard on stone. Biological growth, iron staining, and years of neglect can make a headstone nearly unreadable. With the right products and the right approach, most stones can be brought back to something close to their original condition.
I use D/2 Biological Solution — the industry standard approved for all stone types — and soft natural-fiber brushes. Never pressure washers. Never bleach. Never wire bristles. I send you before and after photos after every job so you can see the difference from wherever you are.
